The Dispensary
Our dispensary team will be happy to help you with any medication queries, order your medication and send it to your chosen pharmacy or dispense your medication (if you are a Dispensing patient). The Dispensary manager (Pharmacy Technician, Rebecca Wright) will assist with any complaints that you may have regarding the Dispensary.
Practice Manager
The administration and day to day running of the Practice is carried out by our Practice Manager, Karen Copping. She is available to help you with any administrative or non-medical aspects of your health treatment. She is also happy to discuss with you any comments, suggestions or complaints that you may have.
Deputy Practice Manager
Leanne Gates is the Deputy Practice Manager who in the absence of the Practice Manager is available to help you with any administrative or non-medical aspects of your health treatment. She is also happy to discuss with you any comments, suggestions or complaints that you may have.
Finance Manager
Claire Craker deals with the finances of the Practice.
Secretaries and Administrators
If you need to enquire about a referral or any other administration matter related to your healthcare the secretaries & administrators are there to help you. They also manage recall systems for Cervical Cytology and support the Clinical Team in ensuring patients are monitored for disease reviews such as Asthma and Diabetes.
Our registration clerk will help you with any aspect of registering and transferring data to or from our Practice.
Our Care Co-ordinators help to co-ordinate and navigate care across the health and care system, they are there to help make the right connections, with the right teams when needed. They can support people to become more active in their own health and care and are skilled in assessing people’s changing needs. Care co-ordinators are effective in bringing together multidisciplinary teams to support people’s complex health and care needs.
Receptionists
Our receptionists are fully trained and will do their best to help you. They do however have a difficult and sometimes stressful job to do and we ask all our patients to treat them with respect. If you have any reception queries or complaints then the Reception Manager, Theresa Pound will be happy to help.
If the receptionists ask questions when dealing with your enquiry this is in order to inform the doctor and assist with your medical care. Please be assured that the rules of confidentiality apply equally to all Practice Staff, Nurses and Doctors.
As the receptionists have to abide by the rules of confidentiality they are unable to disclose information to third parties concerning appointments, treatment, pathology results etc.
